I love being in the cozy house with my lovely flatmates. We have our own space and common living room for fun times. Our house manager Stephen has become a part of our circle. As it was my first time living with people other than my family, I was so lucky to be paired with two amazing roommates who shared the same way of thinking and doing things as me. This apartment was almost exactly what I was looking for when I first imagined where I wanted to stay in Korea, even before coming. Everything became so much easier once I realized how well located it was and how great the place was overall. If I could, I would definitely go back to my room there!! I was also very relieved that our landlord was always available to answer our questions quickly whenever we needed help, and they were a big help with many things. I would totally recommend this place and would stay in the same apartment again if it were available!! Thank you so much 😆”

Before coming to Korea, I hopped on a call with the landlord, Steve, to go through all the options, and this was already a much more personal experience compared to other housing companies. Once I was actually in Seoul, Steve would always quickly reply to any questions I had or would be at the apartment within an hour if something was wrong. The apartment was completely furnished with everything you need, including bedding, towels, etc. The deposit is low compared to other options in Korea, and Steve speaks perfect English, so I didn’t have to worry about communicating in (broken) Korean.”

“Shared homies is an easy way to find a house in Korea and meet people there. Steve was really available and helped us every time we needed it. The rent may be a bit high, but the deposit being low makes it convenient. Since the house I stayed in was pretty old, the isolation wasn't the best so it was really hot in summer and really cold in winter, but Steve did his best to fix the problems encountered. I had a great experience overall!”

“My best friend and I chose Shared Homies because we wanted to live together during our stay in Korea without going through traditional apartment rentals that usually require a minimum 1-year contract. We were staying for 11 months, so the flexibility was perfect. The rent is a bit high compared to some other options, but the deposit is really low, which helped us a lot as students. Our stay was overall very pleasant. We had two different roommates during the year and got along with both of them really well. One thing we really appreciated was being able to meet them through FaceTime beforehand to see if we were a good match! That made a big difference. Steve, who manages the rentals, was always very available and willing to help. Since the apartment we stayed in was quite old, we had some common issues (it was cold in the winter, hot in the summer) but Steve always did his best to make things more comfortable for us. One issue with our door took a bit of time to fix, as we had to go through a few steps, but in the end it was resolved and the handle is like new! The flexibility of the contract dates was also a big plus… we were even able to extend our stay without any problems when our plans changed. Living in a shared house also allowed us to meet new people and feel less alone, especially at the beginning of our stay in Korea. Would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Korea for a few months and looking for a friendly, flexible, and community-oriented living experience! PS: Thanks for the Ice-creams~”

“I stayed at SharedHomies apartment for six months and really enjoyed my stay! The apartment is very comfortable and warm, with spacious shared areas that are perfect for living with roommates. The rooms are also spacious, making it easy to have your own space, with plenty of furniture. Steve, the owner, was always attentive if we needed anything, and he made sure to connect people already living there with new roommates, which created a safe atmosphere and helped build a good match between everyone. The neighborhood is also very convenient, with lots of cafés, marts, convenience stores, subway and bus options, and restaurants. It’s a calm and safe area, perfect for living in Korea. I really felt at home there, so I would definitely recommend it for both short and long stays, and I would definitely come back!”

“Booked this place for a colleague of mine visiting Korea for a month. The location is great and very convenient to use public transports. The neighbourhood is quiet but has all you need... Convenience Stores, fitness, restaurants, etc... Steve is a great host and very responsive to any request. The reservation process was flawless and very convenient.. Couple of messages, payment, and it was done... Same for the refund of the deposit at the end of the stay. To conclude, highly impressed with the service and recommend it without reservation!”

“Happy to leave a review! Being a remote worker who travels a lot, I’ve been constantly searching for short-term apartments in each destinations I’m traveling to. During the past few years I’ve been dealing with several housing service providers, and I gotta say that Shared Homies tops the list for being one of the best housing providers among the world. When I first got in touch with Steve, he arranged a quick call to walk me through the entire rental process and answered whatever questions I may have. During the call he showed me the location on google map as well as a pre-filmed video of him showing the neighborhood, infrastructures etc around the apartment I’m moving in so that I can have a overview of where I’m staying and what to expect. He has been very responsive, and when I had some further requests, he’s always being understanding and willing to help. This time we had made the agreement and due to an unexpected situation, I had to pull out the deal in the last minute. I appreciate that Steve still trying to understand my situation and let me put a stop on the deal :)) I’d def be happy to stay in their apartment next time when I’m staying in Seoul! TLDR: if you’re looking for a reliable and professional housing provider, look no further!! This is one of the best in Seoul!! Go ahead and I’m sure you’re gonna have a stress-free housing experience:)”
